Test Specialist (SharePoint) x 2 (Standard/Expert) - EU Institution - 90% Remote (Poland)

The role will be performed in Near-Site meaning you must live within 2-hour radius of the Warsaw, Poland premises.

Remote working mode but must be able to go on-site upon request (hence the 2-hour radius).

For one of our main clients based in Warsaw, Poland we are looking for 2 different Senior Test Specialist (SharePoint) profiles:

Education

• University degree (BSc/MSc) (preferably in ICT related) or specifically Software Testing Tools

• Certificate ISTQB Advanced or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Client)

• In case no certificate 3 years’ experience in test design is required (above 5 years experience in similar position)

EXPERT LEVEL

Knowledge/Skills

• At least 8 years of hands on experience in testing complex systems at the highest level of which - 6 years are specific to the technologies listed

• Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools

• Expert in designing tests

• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly

• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills

• Knowledge of full end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle

• Proven functional, regression and acceptance testing of enterprise web applications built on SharePoint / SPFx / React with .NET Web APIs, including API testing (e.g. Postman) and basic performance testing (e.g. JMeter)

• Hands-on management of test plans, test suites, test cases and defects in Azure DevOps Test Plans / Boards, with traceability from requirements and user stories to test results and to the commits/pull requests fixing the defects

• Experience in taking over a test asset base from a third-party contractor (test-case inventory, regression suites, environments) and in verifying a Definition of Done that includes security-scan and penetration-test findings

• Ability to work with business owners on acceptance criteria and UAT organisation; availability for a knowledge-transfer period.

STANDARD LEVEL

Knowledge/Skills

• A least 5 years of total IT professional experience of which at least 4 years in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing

• Expert in designing test environments   

• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"

• Experience in setting up test management tool for new project.

• Experience in providing test documentation.

• Experience in leading testing in complex project

• Practical knowledge of testing tools.

• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly

• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills and knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle.

• Experienced in testing front-end and back-end solutions developed on SharePoint on-premise

• Experienced in SharePoint data integration solutions

• Experienced in testing SharePoint On-line solutions

• B2 level English - Certified (We offer you a certified test online covering listening, reading, speaking and writing - unless you have a CEFR or equivalent governing body certification to prove your level)
