Senior Database Observability Specialist (Malta - 90% Remote) (REQ: 1226)

KEYES is seeking a Data ObservabKindly note that the selected offer must start the engagement with on-site presence of at least five (5)

consecutive working days - 90% REMOTE, 10% ON-SITE across the duration of the contract.

Requirements

• The candidate must hold up to 10 years at least in IT, namely relevant experience to the scope of this role.

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field / IT

• Freelancer work-mode/open to freelancing - you will subcontract via KEYES

The requested profile shall carry out the following tasks:

• Analyse existing MS SQL, MySQL, and hybrid (Azure/AWS/on-prem) database architectures and observability

maturity levels.

• Configure and manage monitoring tools such as SQL Sentry.

• Evaluate database performance baselines, resource utilization patterns, and high availability configurations.

• Suggest AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated self-healing mechanisms for database

operations.

• Troubleshoot complex Database infrastructure and application issues.

• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
