THE BACKGROUND

For one of our key clients based in Luxembourg, a major EU financial institution, we are currently looking for an Business Analyst (Intermediate) to join a team working at the intersection of finance, governance, and software development.

The role is based onsite in Luxembourg, therefore local presence is required.

This is a short‑term assignment of 90 working days, with the possibility of an extension of up to 50%.
The
estimated project period is from 10/06/2026 to 31/12/2026.

YOUR MISSION

As Business Analyst, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Strategy Alignment & Reporting

  • Support the alignment of the Value Chain (VC) vision, digital roadmap, and initiatives with the Group’s strategic transformation objectives.

  • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring early identification and mitigation.

  • Provide consolidated reporting on Value Chain status, progress, and pipeline.

Governance & Coordination

  • Organise and support monthly Value Chain Committee (VCC) meetings (agenda, documentation, minutes, and follow‑up).

  • Maintain decisions, actions, and stakeholder registers.

  • Ensure governance outputs are documented and shared via appropriate collaboration platforms (e.g. MS Teams, Smartsite).

  • Support the review and maintenance of governance frameworks (e.g. Terms of Reference).

  • Coordinate with other Value Chain PMOs to ensure alignment, standardisation, and sharing of best practices.

Planning, Capacity & Budget Support

  • Support planning activities related to scope, capacity, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate budget and capacity inputs in collaboration with budget officers and PMO counterparts.

  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on budget utilisation and resource planning.

Demand & Portfolio Management

  • Support demand management by coordinating the intake, update, and tracking of initiatives.

  • Maintain the Value Chain project catalogue and roadmap.

  • Monitor initiative progress and prepare management information for stakeholders.

  • Support backlog reviews, alignment workshops, and portfolio steering activities.

  • Perform quality checks on demand and portfolio data and suggest process or tool improvements.

Change, Communication & Enablement

  • Prepare and consolidate reports for internal governance and steering bodies.

  • Ensure timely and consistent communication across Value Chain stakeholders.

  • Publish and maintain relevant information on collaboration platforms and intranet.

  • Deliver onboarding and training sessions on processes and tools to new members.

Workshops & Ways of Working

  • Support the organisation and facilitation of workshops, including preparation of materials and follow‑up on actions.

  • Contribute to the rollout and adoption of new operating models, processes, and ways of working in collaboration with transformation teams.

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE

Mandatory requirements:

  • You have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree

  • You have knowledge of business requirement modelling techniques (UML, BPMN.)

  • You have a good command of English (written and spoken)

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in:

    o   Coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders

    o   Eliciting, & preparing business requirement documents

    o   Writing user stories

    o   Experience with preparing testing cases and executing them.

  • Experience in the banking sector and/or within an EU financial institution is considered a strong asset.
