For one of our main clients based in Luxembourg - major financial institution, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with focus on First Line Operations, Banking processes & Financial products to join the Operations support department which is responsible for supporting the first line activity.

This division is responsible for OPS IT Information Systems and applications for the entire Directorate. Within the division, the Mandate Applications Unit is in charge of developing and enhancing the Mandate Management System, the IT Application related to Mandates Management. In a context where mandates activity of the institution represents one third of its annual Business Plan (approx. EUR 20bn signed per year) and continue to increase significantly, adequate systems develop ment for Mandate Management is a key element of the Bank digital transformation initiative. Consequently, the Mandate Management System aims at becoming a comprehensive solution for the management of mandates, starting with its integration with the Lending/Advisory value chains and the enhancements on data/reporting, tasks automation and improvement controls.

The role will be performed on 100% onsite mode at the client premises based in Luxembourg, therefore being based in Luxembourg or relocation to Luxembourg will be required.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will perform the following tasks:

• Analysis and documentation of As-Is processes and functionalities.

• Elicit, conceptualize and document business requirements for new IT developments and, if applicable, reporting requirements.

• Creation of the project documentation.

• Business case, detailed requirements, test cases, etc.

• Creation and maintenance of application documentation - functional documentation, user manual, etc.

• Testing preparation, execution and documentation.

Are you the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s degree;

• Advanced English skills (level C1).

• Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis for IT projects in large banks.

• Experience in review of business processes (as-is) and design of new business processes (to be).

• Experience in the testing of IT applications in the financial field.

• Experience as a project manager.

• Writing user manuals.

• Experience as business analyst in the context of IT migration projects (from old to new systems) would be an advantage.

• Experience in modelling technics and languages: UML.

• Experience in project management methodologies: Waterfall and Agile.

• Experience in SQL.

• Experience in financial products (loans, etc.)

• Recommended knowledge of French (level B2).
