Is this YOU?

For one of our main clients based in Amsterdam - a European Health Institution, we are looking for a Senior WAF Expert with expertise in administration of Azure WAF to support corporate solutions in the area of healthcare and innovation.

For the needs of the client and EU security clearance requirements, you need to be based anywhere within the European Union (work on fully remote basis), have EU nationality with eligibility for EU security clearance, and be able to work as a freelancer (B2B contract) in the residence country.

Please note that the start of the mission is envisioned for 1st November 2026.

More specifically, you will be responsible for…

• Administration of the WAF.

• WAF ruleset management.

• WAF platform optimization according to vendor recommendations and best practice.

• Communicate with relevant application teams for WAF rule optimization.

• Development of customized WAF rules.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT environment, preferably with WAF and the tasks described above.
